Parlwr Glaslyn Parlour
We’re lucky enough to have an award winning ice cream parlour just on our doorstep, this is a must visit when you stay in Beddgelert. Head down and and treat yourself, be spoilt for choice, sit on The Wall or wonder with an ice cream along the River Glaslyn and watch the beautiful world go by.
The inn has seven en suite bedrooms, each with colour television, telephone, tea and coffee tray and hair drier. In selecting your bedroom, you can choose to overlook the river at the front of the house, or the green fields backed by the mountains at the rear of the house. Besides the dining-room, there is a large lounge with an open fire and two attractive small bars.
Y Bistro Yn Yr Hebog
Right next door to Plas Colwyn is the restaurant Y Bistro Yn Yr Hebog. They take booking on their website.
“Simple food cooked and presented to a high standard by our professional kitchen team along side friendly, efficient and welcoming service, thats what we love!”
The Prince Llewyn
Located three doors down is the The Prince Llewyn pub. The choice destination for a cosy family & pet friendly atmosphere in Beddgelert. Visit the cosy bar, dining rooms or go al fresco whilst enjoying great weather in our patio area.
Next door but 2 is the pub Saracens Head offering both food and drink. They take booking on their website.

The Royal Goat Hotel
Located in the centre of Beddgelert, The Royal Goat offer award winning cask ales. Worth checking if they are providing food before booking.
“Fine dining and traditional cask ales”
Outside of Beddgelert, our favourite is Castell Deudraeth in Port Meirion Village – its more expensive, and a drive away, but we have found you get free admission into Port Meirion if you eat there.
There is also the Port Meirion Hotel there which we’ve heard good reports but never sampled ourselves.
